About Dr. Beier

Podiatric surgeon Dresden Beier, DPM, brings more than a decade of experience in pediatric foot surgery, flatfoot reconstruction, and diabetic limb salvage surgery to Orthopedic Associates: Foot & Ankle Specialists, serving men, women, and families in Farmington, New Mexico, and throughout San Juan County.

Dr. Beier comes to the Southwest from the Detroit Metro area in Michigan. He began his professional pursuits at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. After podiatry school, Dr. Beier moved to Michigan and completed an internship and residency training at Botsford General Hospital (now Beaumont Hospital) in Farmington Hills, Michigan. 

After finishing his residency, Dr. Beier began an orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship under Tudor R. Tien, MD, at Henry Ford Allegiance Orthopedics in Jackson, Michigan. He excelled in the program, establishing a broad base of knowledge in foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, orthotics, diabetic limb salvage, and fracture treatment.

Dr. Beier loves doing foot and ankle surgery and brings extensive experience to the Four Corners region. When he isn’t meeting with patients or developing custom treatment plans, Dr. Beier enjoys spending time with his wife, Michaela, and their three children, Emma, Oliver, and Charles. Away from the office, Dr. Beier also enjoys fly fishing, biking, and hiking.  He welcomes any man, woman, or family seeking treatment for foot or ankle pain to Orthopedic Associates: Foot & Ankle Specialists.
