LAWRENCE O. WARD

Lawrence O. Ward, DPM, FACFAS came to Farmington, NM in 2006 after finishing a three year residency in foot and ankle surgery. This residency was completed in Farmington Hills, Michigan. His area of specialty is foot and ankle surgery, but conservative care is always emphasized before going forward with any surgical procedure.

Dr. Ward has extensive training in
diabetic limb salvage and complications. 

 

He was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was always interested in medicine, but realized that his talents were best suited for surgery. He worked with his father who was a carpenter and this prepared him well for the manual dexterity needed for difficult surgical procedures.

Dr. Ward earned his undergraduate degree in Radiological Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He attended podiatric medical school in San Francisco, California and subsequently completed a three-year residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Dr. Ward is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is also a member of the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Ward has 5 children ranging in ages from 3 to 15 years old. His wife is an avid runner and enjoys participating in marathons. Dr. Ward enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, automobile restoration and woodworking. He is involved in Cub and Boy Scouting and attends the Blue Mountain Scout Camp every year

DRESDEN BEIER

Orthopedic Associates P.A. is proud to introduce Dr. Dresden Beier who specializes in Podiatric Surgery.  Dr. Beier attended California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University where he earned his degree in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and relocated to the Detroit Metro area for internship/residency training at Botsford Hospital.  After graduating from residency he began an orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship under Tudor R. Tien, MD at Henry Ford Allegiance Orthopedics.

Dr. Beier is welcoming new patients at Orthopedic Associates P.A. and has joined the medical staff at San Juan Regional Medical Center.  We are excited to bring an additional podiatric surgeon to our community to delivery exceptional foot and ankle care to the four-corners region.  Dr. Beier has special interests in foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, orthotics, diabetic limb salvage and fracture management.

 

Dr. Beier relocated to Farmington, New Mexico with his wife Michaela and their three children Emma, Oliver and Charles.  In his free time Dr. Beier enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, biking and hiking.

Dr. Broadbent attended medical school at Des Moines University, graduating with honors In 2006 he completed a comprehensive Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency Program at the Legacy/Kaiser Portland Hospitals in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Broadbent is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

 

Dr. Broadbent was part of the clinical faculty for the Legacy/Kaiser Portland Hospitals Podiatry Surgical Residency Program. He was also in private practice in Oregon from 2006 through 2018. He grew up in Farmington and graduated from high school in New Mexico. In 2018 he moved back to Farmington and began practicing in October 2018. In October of 2019 he joined OAFoot.

Dr. Broadbent is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is an active staff member at San Juan Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Broadbent enjoys all aspects of treating foot and ankle pathology from ingrown toenails and hammertoes to reconstruction and trauma.

Dr. Broadbent is committed to continuing medical education through participation in various educational seminars and meetings.
Dr. Broadbent enjoys outdoor activities and sports of any type, especially basketball. He played college basketball at Southern Utah University and also enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children.
